J. Brandon Johnson
Founder

Brandon worked in the legal department of Papa John’s from 2012-2014 before starting The Johnson Law Group when he landed his first client, Hillerich & Bradsby - i.e. Louisville Slugger. He loves adding value to businesses and he serves small business owners in multiple facets. Most of Brandon’s time is spent directly advising business owners and drafting corporate documentation, but he litigated for years under seasoned litigators before focusing on general counsel and business services. Brandon’s passion is to serve small business owners and expand the legal market by providing quality and affordable legal services.

Sydney Lane
Legal Clerk

Sydney is a 3L at the University of Louisville School of Law. Near the top of the class, on Law Review, and clerking at a large regional law firm, Sydney has worked with The Johnson Law Group since 2017. Sydney is a magna cum laude graduate of Bellarmine University, where she ran track. Sydney is a highly capable and valuable team member, who is intelligent, responsive, and efficient.
